Welcome to Wealth Sandbox. Before using the services of Dusk AI Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), please read and agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). By accessing or using the services of Wealth Sandbox, accessible at https://wealthsandbox.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms, forming a legal agreement. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Use of the website, including free calculators and other tools, without creating an account also constitutes use of the Service and agreement to these Terms.
Note: These Terms apply to all users, including both visitors and registered users of the Service.
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You may not share your account login information or make your account available to anyone else.
Subscriptions are billed in advance and automatically renew unless canceled. The content, features, and services provided as part of your subscription will be described during the order process.
Payments are processed through third-party payment processors (including Stripe). Your payment information is subject to the processor's terms and privacy policy. We do not store complete credit card information on our servers.
Free trials are offered at our discretion and are limited to one per user. Billing will begin automatically at the end of the trial period unless canceled before the trial ends.
AI interactions are tracked when you use AI-powered features such as the planning assistant, what-if simulations, chart generation, and scenario-based analysis. Each use consumes one interaction from your plan's limit. Limits and the rolling window (the number of hours over which usage is counted) vary by plan—for example, some plans use a 4-hour window, others 12 or 24 hours. Usage resets as older interactions leave the rolling window, not monthly. The exact limit and window for your plan are shown in Settings. You can upgrade your plan to get higher limits.
Subscriptions can be canceled any time via account settings or by contacting us at [email protected]. To avoid renewal charges, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
While refunds are not guaranteed, we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Refund requests should be submitted to [email protected] within 30 days of purchase for consideration. Your satisfaction is important to us. No refunds will be provided for partial periods after cancellation.
We reserve the right to change subscription fees with at least 30 days' notice before the changes take effect for your next billing period.
From time to time we may offer an Early User Program (or similar promotional program) that provides a discount on subscription fees to eligible users who opt in during checkout (e.g. "early user partner" or founder-style pricing). The specific discount, eligibility criteria, and how to join will be described at the point of sign-up or checkout.
If you subscribe under the Early User Program:
Nothing in the Early User Program creates a permanent or lifetime entitlement to a particular price. Discounts are offered at our discretion and are subject to these Terms and any program-specific terms communicated at sign-up.
Wealth Sandbox provides analysis and assistant features including but not limited to:
We use third-party AI service providers (including OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude) to power our AI assistant features. When you use AI features, your inputs are sent to these providers for processing. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.
We do not include your name or your spouse's name in the scenario data sent to our AI providers. In the data we send for AI analysis we use generic identifiers (e.g. "User" and "Spouse," or "ME" and "SPOUSE") rather than personal names. Your chat messages are sent as you type them; if you include names or other personal details in a message, they will be sent to the AI. We do not use retrieval-augmented generation (RAG); we use on-demand, tool-based access to your scenario data so only the data needed to answer your question is sent when you ask.
You acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for all inputs you submit to our AI services. By submitting inputs, you represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to do so. You retain ownership of the content you create using our Services, but grant Dusk AI Inc. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in connection with providing and improving our Services.
We do not use your personal financial data, scenarios, or AI conversation history to train AI models. We may use anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., general patterns such as how often users ask about certain topics) to improve our Services, but never your specific financial information or identifiable data. Your conversations and inputs remain private and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
AI features depend on third-party AI service providers. We are not liable for interruptions or outages of AI features due to third-party service issues. During such outages, core financial projection features will remain available.
You must not:

You grant Dusk AI Inc. a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
Dusk AI Inc. retains all rights to the Service's original content, including but not limited to software, algorithms, AI models, user interfaces, designs, text, graphics, and other materials. Unauthorized use is prohibited. You may not use Dusk AI Inc.'s name, logos, or trademarks without our prior written permission.
You agree to use the Service in a lawful, ethical, and responsible manner, and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
If you use the Service in a professional or commercial capacity, including providing education, planning, coaching, or advisory services to third parties, you are solely responsible for your services, communications, representations, and use of the Service, and for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements. Wealth Sandbox does not monitor, supervise, verify, or enforce compliance with any professional, regulatory, or licensing obligations.
You are responsible for the security of your account and must report any unauthorized access promptly. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, ensuring the accuracy of the information you provide or enter into the Service, and for all activities that occur under your account.

The content and tools provided through Wealth Sandbox, including AI-generated responses, financial projections, calculators, and simulations, are for educational and informational purposes only and are not intended as, nor should they be understood or construed as, financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
Our free calculators and planning tools (e.g. FIRE number, retirement, tax, or loan calculators) are provided for education and planning only. Results are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide and may not reflect real-world outcomes. They are not a substitute for professional advice. By using any calculator or tool on the website, you agree that your use is subject to these Terms.
AI-generated responses, scenarios, and projections are automated outputs based on algorithms and your input data. They may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete information. Always independently verify AI-generated information before making financial decisions.
We strongly recommend consulting with qualified financial services professionals, tax advisors, and legal counsel who have a fiduciary relationship with you before making any financial, investment, or tax decisions. Wealth Sandbox is not a registered investment advisor, financial planner, or tax professional.
The content and tools provided through Wealth Sandbox, including any calculators, projections, and AI-generated analyses, are for initial planning and informational purposes only. WEALTH SANDBOX PROVIDES AI-POWERED SERVICES WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES OR ERRORS. DUSK AI INC. IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WAY THE USER USES THE RESPONSES OR OUTPUTS GENERATED BY OUR AI SERVICES. THE USER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT MAY CONTAIN INACCURACIES OR ERRORS AND AGREES TO INDEPENDENTLY VERIFY ANY INFORMATION BEFORE RELYING ON IT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DUSK AI INC., ITS PARENT COMPANY, AFFILIATES, AND SUBSIDIARIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Notwithstanding any damages that you might incur, the total liability of the Company under any provision of these Terms and your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you through the Service, with a maximum liability cap of 100 USD for users who have not made any purchases through the Service.
While we strive to ensure the Service is always accessible, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access and will not be liable for any inability to access the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or other factors beyond our control.
The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Significant changes will be communicated to users through email or notification on the website.
Wealth Sandbox is not responsible for the content, policies, or activities of third-party services linked or integrated with our Service. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and governed by their terms and policies.
The Service is not intended for and may not be used by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you are under 18, you may not use the Service. By using the Service, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dusk AI Inc. and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with:

We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of these claims.
We retain data only as necessary for providing our services and as required by law.
User data is stored on servers located in Canada. When you use AI features, your inputs may be processed by our AI service providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT) whose servers are located in the United States. We ensure all such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws, including PIPEDA.
Wealth Sandbox offers two data storage modes:
You can switch between modes at any time in Settings. When you switch from Cloud to Local Mode, we stop syncing and displaying your cloud-stored data; you will use only the data stored on your device. We do not delete your data from our servers upon switching. To request deletion of cloud-stored data, contact [email protected] or see our account deletion and data retention provisions.
You may request an export of your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will provide your data in a machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV) within 30 days of your request.
We are committed to continuously improving our practices to enhance user privacy and data security. Your conversations and inputs remain private and are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Users are encouraged to review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle and protect their personal data.
Any feedback or suggestions submitted to Wealth Sandbox become the property of the Company, and we reserve the right to use this feedback without any obligation to the user.
If you provide Feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, and display that Feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
If you post content on community forums or other public areas of the Service, you are solely responsible for the content of these postings. Wealth Sandbox is not responsible for the consequences of any communications or content in these public areas.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms, engage in illegal activities, or fail to comply with our policies.
You may terminate your use of the Service at any time via your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If we terminate your access due to a violation of these Terms and you have a subscription, you will not be entitled to any refund. We may terminate your account if you have been inactive for over a year and do not have a paid account, with notice provided before doing so.
Upon termination or account deletion, all your data, including AI conversation history and scenario data, will be permanently deleted within 60 days, except where we are required to retain data by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution). Backups may be retained for a limited period but will not be used for any other purpose.
Free tier users are subject to the same data deletion and data portability rights as paid users (including the 60-day deletion period and the right to request an export of their data). We may delete inactive free accounts (no login for 12 months or longer) after providing 30 days' notice to the account email address.
The Company shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond the Company's reasonable control, including, but not limited to, natural disasters, acts of government, technological failures, or other unforeseeable events.
We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes to the Terms will be communicated to users through email or notification on the website. Your continued use of the Service after such notifications signifies acceptance of the new Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms to comply with any applicable laws and regulations, or to enhance user protections or service functionality. Any such changes will be communicated as outlined in this section.
If any part of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, the remainder of the Terms shall continue in effect. These Terms and Conditions may have been translated if We have made them available to You on our Service. You agree that the original English text shall prevail in the case of a dispute.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dusk AI Inc. and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements between you and the Company.
These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Our aim is to resolve disputes amicably. In the event of a dispute, you are encouraged to contact us first at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. If the dispute cannot be resolved, any legal proceedings arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the Province of British Columbia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Dusk AI Inc. complies with applicable Canadian laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Users from Quebec should note that where required by law, French language versions of our terms will be made available.
You represent and warrant that (i) You are not located in a country that is subject to the United States government embargo, or that has been designated by the United States government as a 'terrorist supporting' country, and (ii) You are not listed on any United States government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
